The Futilities are a set of file utilities and utility files.

Version History

• 2024-12 currently working on v0.6 of Ferreteria, which now includes The Futilities as an app. When ready for release, this will become v1.0.

Outdated

This section only applies to the previous version, which was never production-ready (though I regularly use FTM, and have used the other bits at various times).

It is broadly grouped into the following categories:

• client: utilities for the client end of the web
  • This is currently just the dispatcher, but I should maybe include the Mastodon public-thread copier.
• config: server configuration bits & pieces
• human: CLI file-op utilities for humans to use
• server: sever ops and server-oriented file utilities
• web: web-served utilities, typically informational

Technical:

• notes: taking notes on internal processes, eventually for proper documentation
