MediaWiki

ResearchBuy

The only site I have created for a 3rd party was "ResearchWikis" a MediaWiki site created for a company named ResearchBuy, which is archived here. They sent me .PSD files for how the pages should look. I extrapolated site behavior to the best of my ability and worked out a detailed bid, which they accepted. Apparently they were happy with the results, although the project was not financially successful.

The site at one point included a "premium content" section to which users could gain instant accress -- a MediaWiki plugin authorized payments via the PayPal API and granted access to the premium area for a set time.

  • Issuepedia, a political analysis site (started 2005)
  • HTYP, a general reference site (started 2005)
