This is where you (meaning whoever places the order) record the quantity actually ordered from the Template:L/vc/term.

The significance of this value is slightly different depending on which page you're on:

• Template:L/vc/help
• restock request

When entering this field in a Template:L/vc/term request, this defaults to the quantity needed – but the actual request as sent to the supplier may have a different quantity for any of several possible reasons. This field lets you keep track of what was actually ordered, in case it's different from what the system suggested.
